The Procedure
Depending on what area (s) you’re having treated, the Morpheus8 treatment can take anywhere from 15-60 minutes. Your Aura Laser Clinic provider will start by applying a topical numbing cream in order to minimize any discomfort. We will then proceed to administer radiofrequency heat via tiny injections to your skin. Depending on the issues that you are seeking to address with the treatment we will also be able to adjust the depth at which the RF energy penetrates the skin accordingly.
We recommend that you avoid taking any aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories like Advil, if possible. Certain supplements like fish oil, Vitamin E and St. John’s Wort are also known to increase the likelihood of bruising. We also recommend that you limit your alcohol intake as it can also cause bruising and try to drink plenty of water before your treatment. Your Aura Skincare provider will talk to you about how best to prepare for your Morpheus8 treatment before you come in.
